Itinerary

A detailed day-by-day journey through Morocco's most breathtaking landscapes.

Day 1

Marrakech → Essaouira

After breakfast, leave Marrakech and travel towards Morocco's Atlantic coast. The journey takes you through the countryside and the argan-growing region before arriving in Essaouira, a charming coastal town known for its relaxed atmosphere, whitewashed buildings and historic medina.

Explore the UNESCO-listed old town, walk along the Skala overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and visit the traditional fishing port. The medina is filled with small shops, galleries, cafés and artisan workshops, making it an excellent place to experience a different side of Morocco.

Enjoy lunch in the harbor or one of the local restaurants before continuing your exploration. You will have free time in the afternoon to walk along the beach or simply enjoy the atmosphere of the town.

~190 km Essaouira Breakfast
Day 2

Essaouira → Casablanca

Enjoy breakfast before leaving Essaouira and continuing north along the Atlantic coast. The route passes through rural landscapes and argan forests before reaching Casablanca, Morocco's largest city and economic capital.

Upon arrival, visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, dramatically positioned beside the Atlantic Ocean. Depending on the opening schedule and your preference, you can join an interior visit or admire the mosque from outside.

Continue through the modern city center and discover some of Casablanca's important Art Deco architecture. You can also visit the Corniche and enjoy some free time by the ocean.

Casablanca offers a striking contrast to Essaouira: while Essaouira is relaxed and traditional, Casablanca is modern, energetic and cosmopolitan.

~350 km Casablanca Breakfast
Day 3

Casablanca → Rabat → Fes

After breakfast, depart Casablanca and travel to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Explore the city's most important landmarks, including the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the historic Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the Bou Regreg River.

After lunch, continue east towards Fes. The landscape gradually changes from the Atlantic plains to agricultural countryside and rolling hills.

Arrive in Fes in the late afternoon and check into your traditional riad or hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a relaxed evening in the area surrounding the medina.

This day combines two important Moroccan cities in one journey: modern Casablanca and historic Rabat, followed by your arrival in Fes, one of Morocco's most fascinating cultural destinations.

~340 km Fes Breakfast
Day 4

Full-Day Fes Guided Tour

Today is dedicated to discovering Fes, Morocco's cultural and spiritual capital. After breakfast, meet your private local guide and begin exploring Fes el-Bali, the ancient walled medina.

Walk through the narrow streets and discover traditional souks, artisan workshops, historic madrasas and beautiful architectural details. Visit important sites around the medina, including the Bou Inania Madrasa and the famous Chouara Tanneries.

Continue through the Mellah, the historic Jewish quarter, and visit panoramic viewpoints overlooking the ancient city. Your guide will introduce you to the history, craftsmanship and traditions that have shaped Fes over centuries.

You will also have time to enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch and shop for local handicrafts such as leather, ceramics, carpets and textiles.

Fes Breakfast
Day 5

Fes → Chefchaouen

After breakfast, leave Fes and head north towards the Rif Mountains and Chefchaouen, Morocco's famous Blue City.

The scenery becomes increasingly mountainous as you approach Chefchaouen. After arriving, check into your riad before beginning a walking exploration of the old town.

Chefchaouen is known for its distinctive blue-painted streets, small squares, traditional houses and mountain setting. Wander through the medina, visit the Kasbah in the main square and explore the local artisan shops.

For one of the best views over the town, walk towards the Spanish Mosque viewpoint, particularly around sunset when the blue buildings and surrounding Rif Mountains create a beautiful panorama.

Spend the evening enjoying a relaxed dinner in the medina and experience the much quieter atmosphere compared with the larger Moroccan cities.

~200 km Chefchaouen Breakfast
Day 6

Chefchaouen → Tangier

After breakfast, leave Chefchaouen and travel north towards Tangier, one of Morocco's most cosmopolitan cities.

Upon arrival, explore Tangier's historic medina and Kasbah. Walk through the old streets and discover Petit Socco, traditional cafés and local shops. Continue towards the coastal viewpoints for spectacular views across the Strait of Gibraltar.

Depending on your schedule, visit Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean, and the nearby Hercules Caves. These natural and coastal landmarks provide a different perspective of northern Morocco.

Return to Tangier's city center in the afternoon and enjoy some free time to explore independently. You can relax at a café, visit the port area or continue exploring the medina.

~115 km Tangier Breakfast
Day 7

Tangier → Free Time & Departure

Enjoy your final breakfast in Morocco before spending your remaining time exploring Tangier at your own pace.

Depending on your departure time, you can take a final walk through the Kasbah and medina, purchase Moroccan handicrafts or relax at one of the city's cafés overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar.

Your private driver will then transfer you to Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport, Tangier Ville train station, ferry port or another location in Tangier according to your travel plans.
